IF A TREE FALLS AT LUNCH PERIOD by Gennifer Choldenko

I liked this book. The characters and situations rang true, especially Brianna, the stereotypical "meangirl." I won't spoil the plot twist, but I liked that it was different. I thought the parents rang true as well- the father avoiding conflict by avoiding home and consequentially his kids, the mother being kind of clueless about her daughter because she is so focused on popularity. It also is a quick read, which can be nice.
