Hi Anthony Panthers!
My name is Justina Bisch, and I'm the Licensed School Counselor at Anthony. I've been a school counselor since 2010 and have been at Anthony since the 2012-2013 school year. I am the counselor for all 700+ Anthony students!
My primary role is to support students with academic and social/emotional needs. I also support students when they come from 5th grade into 6th grade as well as 8th grade students as they begin the high school transition process. Students receive classroom guidance lessons through My Life Plan, a district curriculum, that helps students with academic, social, and college or career preparation. I enjoy getting into the classrooms to do these lessons because not all students will need counseling support beyond the classroom guidance, so this is a great way for me to get to know all students.
I am an alumni of University of Wisconsin-Stout for my Bachelor's degree and Minnesota State University-Mankato for my Master's degree.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching football, playing volleyball, taking my dog for walks, and spending sunny, summer days boating on the lake!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I hope you find the information useful during your time at Anthony. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.

There are many reasons why a child may need to visit their school counselor. Those reasons may include (but are not limited to):
- Social/Emotional support
- Academic support and planning
- College or career planning
- 504 plan support
- Schedule questions/issues
As each child's needs are different, some students will have little contact with a school counselor. Other students may have special challenges in their lives which require that he/she have more contact with his/her school counselor. A school counselor is someone who is there to help students to sort out issues to help them be successful at school and in life.
