Girl, Stolen by April Henry

Gripping book! Fast paced and never boring. Cheyenne was a great character- blind but not helpless. The author also did a good job with the conflicts Griffin faced- loyalty to an abusive parent, fear, and a deep down niceness that surprises even him.

I really liked the way the friendship between Griffin and Cheyenne developed, but I also liked the fact that it wasn't a fairy tale kind of thing- both of them knew that it was based on inequalities that probably would not be resolved.

This book does have some mild swearing and adult themes.
