Hello, My name is Cornelius M Bishop.  I'm currently the 6th grade (SERT) special education resource teacher at Anthony. I have been teaching since 2011 in special education. I have had several other jobs within the Minneapolis Public School district, I have been at Anthony Middle School since 2005.

I received my BA in Criminal Justice / Psychology from Concordia College in Moorhead MN.  I received my Masters Degree in Special Education at the Universty of St Thomas in Minneapolis. I hold a Minnesota licensure in special education with an emphasis on Emotional and Behavioral Disorders and Learning Disabilities.

I enjoy the challenge of finding out what works for each individual child and helping them make academic, social and behavioral gains.  I believe in teaching children strategies that help them become stronger, more confident learners both in the classroom and in life.  I believe that all of us have a gift to share with the world so as a teacher I try to foster the believe that anything is possible as long as you try.

When I am not busy planning or teaching, I enjoy life by spending time with my children attending dance, soccer, basketball and other sporting events. Also, by coaching basketball within the communities I work and reside in.
