Meet the teacher of the ASD Program!

Greetings Anthony Families, 

My name is Shekinah Stigler and I have been teaching since the Fall of 2018. I am the special education teacher for the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) program. I recevied my Masters in Special Education- Academic and Behavior Strategist from the University of St. Thomas in 2018. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities in 2014. I also completed the Minneapolis Special Education Teacher Residency where I co-taught with a highly qualified special education teacher in a year long student teaching position. 

I am passionate about creating safe environments for students to learn and suceed. While case managing all Autism Spectrum Students, I also teach Social Emotional Learning and Math classes. Some of my hobbies include spending weekends with my husband and two sons. I have always had a deep rooted passion to help people and welcome feedback, comments, or questions, or concerns.
