Young Zorro and The Iron Brand by Diego Vega

I grew up watching re-runs of the old Disney Zorro show. I loved the swashbuckling swordfights, the masked Zorro who used a whip and left his trademark Z to mark his exploits. Zorro is brave, dashing and stands up for the opressed. What is not to love? If you don't know anything about him, this is a good place to start.

I liked how this book looked at some of the background of Zorro; some of the people and events which combined to give the character of Zorro the skills and passions which would cause him to spend his life fighting for justice.

There are also some good movies about Zorro. There are several real people who inspire the character of Zorro. If you are interested in action, adventure, good guys who win and bad guys who get humilated and a little history thrown in, this is a great books for you!
