Hello! I am Cayla Baumann, 7th grade Individuals and Societies teacher at Anthony Middle School. I started teaching in Minneapolis Public Schools in the fall of 2012. This year I split my time between Washburn High School in the mornings and Anthony in the afternoons, and I could not be happier to be part of two different, but wonderful schools!

While I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I have lived in and loved Minneapolis since 2001. Prior to getting my teaching license, I worked with children with Special Needs (specifically, working with children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum Disorders).  As a graduate of the University of Minnesota, I am a Gopher fan. But as a devout Cheesehead, I truly love the Packers and Brewers. I live in South Minneapolis with my wife and 2 dogs and enjoy spending my free time reading, camping, riding my bike, playing sports, and spending time with friends and family.

I’m excited to be a part of the Panther family!
