Meet Ms. Duddingston

My name is Jackie Duddingston and I am a Special Education teacher at Susan B. Anthony Middle School. I joined the Anthony team in Fall of 2017 as a first year teacher. Previously, I had done my student teaching with the Autism Spectrum Diorder (ASD) program at Southwest High School and with a special education resource program at Dowling Elementary School, both in the Minneapolis Public School District. I have always had a love for working with kids of all ages and all ability levels. I learn something new from each one of the students that I get to work with, which

helps me shape my teaching philosophy further.

I studied Special Education at the University of Minnesota from fall of 2013 to spring of 2017. I received my Academic Behavioral Stretegist (ABS) license which allows me to work with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, Emotional or Behavioral Disorder, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Other Health Disabilities.

During my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, hiking, kayaking, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
