Ms. Vue

Hello! Hola! Bonjour! Is ka warren! Kon'Nichiwa! Nyob Zoo!

I am Ms. Vue and this is my seventh year as principal at Anthony Middle School. It is a privilege and honor to be part of the Anthony Middle School family and the Minneapolis Public School district and community.  I anticipate an exciting year as we collectively strive to foster a positive and engaging culture of learning.  I feel extremely fortunate to be working with an exceptional group of students, families, and staff members.

Originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin, I have worked over the last seventeen years in education at the middle, secondary and post-secondary level as a teacher, academic advisor, and principal.  I believe students’ interests and curiosity provide intrinsic motivation that leads them on a road of lifelong learning.  I feel very passionate about the middle school years as this is an important and critical time of transition –moving from elementary and preparing for the bigger challenge of high school.  What happens during these few short years at Anthony will have a lasting impression on students’ development and growth.  My goal is to ensure that every student is provided the highest quality of education possible in an environment that is safe, values diversity, encourages problem-solving and collaboration and embraces the IB philosophy.

In partnership,

Ms. Vue
