Phoenix the Therapy Dog

Who is Phoenix and What is a Therapy Dog?

A therapy dog is a specially trained dog that partners with its’ human handler to volunteer at a variety of facilities, bringing joy, comfort, and companionship to those they meet. Phoenix the Great Dane and his owner, Alison, are a registered therapy animal team and visits my classroom on a volunteer basis every other Friday during 2nd hour (10:50-11:42).
